Mercan College Primary School is raising generations ready for the future with project-based education, a 1800 m² technology center, robotic workshops and an intensive English program.

Mercan College Primary School has adopted modern teaching methods based on projects that teach learning, reveal students' creativity, develop individual differences, make learning easy and enjoyable. The education and teaching program is structured taking into account students' academic, social, cultural, physical development and individual differences.

In classes equipped with the latest technology, allowing for the implementation of all activities that will take students beyond the age, there are interactive boards with touch-sensitive LED screens and computers. Our students learn the infrastructure of future scientific and technological developments in the 1800 m2 TECHNOLOGY AND LIFE CENTER, which includes laboratories, computer coding and robotics workshops, cooking workshops, visual arts and music workshops, a modern "Z" library, a semi-olympic swimming pool, and indoor and outdoor sports areas, and they meet their scientific, social, cultural, athletic, and artistic needs in a spacious and airy environment. Primary school attaches special importance to "Mother Tongue Teaching" where basic knowledge and skills are acquired.

Book reading, interpretation, analysis, and writing studies carried out for this purpose occupy an important place in the curriculum.

As a school that implements international programs, Mercan College perceives foreign language as a way of life, not just a lesson.

With its Turkish and foreign teacher staff, foreign language education is applied with an intensive program at every level. Students work with original books read by their peers whose native language is English, starting from the 4th grade.

An effective cooperation with parents is ensured at every stage of education and teaching practices. Parent education is provided through seminars, meetings, and conferences. The Guidance Unit monitors students' individual development and differences, aims to prevent problems that may arise depending on the age period, and to acquire correct behaviors.
