Mercan College Music Club provides a comprehensive educational environment that enables students to discover their artistic aspects, develop their aesthetic perspectives, and express themselves freely through music. In our club, music is not just a lesson, but also an effective way to express emotions, thoughts, and experiences.

Through music education, our students' creativity and talents develop, and they have the opportunity to get to know different types of music. Students who get acquainted with local, regional, national, and international music cultures learn to see the values of different cultures as richness. This process contributes to increasing their cultural awareness and gaining a broader perspective.

Mercan College Music Club supports the personal development of our students and increases their self-confidence. Through music, mental skills are strengthened, and attention and focus levels are increased. At the same time, individual and social relationships develop; students experience sharing, co-producing, and working in harmony.

In our education program, we also actively benefit from information technologies. Students participate in song listening, singing, and instrument playing activities both individually and in groups, experiencing a learning process intertwined with music. Thus, their musical perception and knowledge levels continuously improve.

In our club, the correct, beautiful, and effective use of Turkish is also valued. Especially with the Independence March, our anthems are aimed to be sung in a way that is appropriate, correct, and conscious. At the same time, the development of feelings of love, sharing, and responsibility through music is supported.

Mercan College Music Club aims for our students to grow up as individuals who know our national culture, have a universal music accumulation, and are conscious and sensitive. It also aims to raise generations that understand the importance Atatürk gave to the development of Turkish music.
